Have You Seen the Baby Boom?

This is one of my favorite ways to display the Baby Boom!

5-11-10PopPicByAge

Note that the chart shows 2003 data for population by age,

The third or fourth yellow bar from the top shows the number of people currently turning 65 in 2015

The bars continue to grow steadily, surpassing 2 MILLION males and females for a number of years (second vertical line from the right or left)

The numbers hover around 2 MILLION for years to come.

It is expected the top of the graph (those much older than 65) will continue to expand as the Baby Boom pushes ‘north of 65.’

Our Pledge, and Our Process

As Area Representatives for Always Best Care, our mission is two-fold:

… to provide the information you need to make an informed decision

… to provide outstanding local support to those who join the team

Promise

It’s that simple:  No sales pressure.  No hype.  No hyperbole.

We award territories to motivated and talented individuals looking to “Build a Business. Make a Difference.” ™

We offer a structured, self-paced approach to learning about the opportunities at Always Best Care.  The “Discovery” process starts with a brief conversation to determine your level of interest, financial capability and preferred location.

If you want to proceed, the next step will be to learn about the industry, the market and Always Best Care’s approach to meeting the demands of the market and exceeding the expectations of our clients.  In addition, we will discuss the unique aspects of the local market, and our local support.

If you want to progress further, “Validation,” is where you can speak with our franchisees to better understand how they are operating their businesses in their markets.  This is the due diligence stage.

Of course, throughout the process you will have a copy of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) which covers all of the contractual aspects of the franchise agreement.

processGiven the knowledge gained in Discovery, the results of your due diligence during Validation, and your review of the FDD, you should have the information you need to make a well-informed decision.

The timeline is yours to control.  You will never be pressured to make a decision, and never receive any hard-core sales pitches.  We understand this is a major decision.  We want you to be comfortable with both the process and the outcome.

What is a ‘Protected’ Territory?

Fire & Heart: Enterprising Individuals with Compassion

Grey questThat is a great questions and one that highlights one of the unique aspects of Always Best Care Senior Services’ franchise ownership opportunities.  The answers center around managing the interaction with the referral source and the services provided to the clients coming from the referral source.

Many franchise concepts will ‘protect’ a geographic area for its owners.  This means that residents (or in some cases, businesses) of that geography cannot be marketed to, approached or served by another owner in that franchise system.  This can work for some home-based services like maid services or mini-blind installation  – marketing is targeted, and services are provided, within a defined geography.

A protected referral source, on the other hand, allows an Always Best Care franchise owner (and the referral sources) to feel comfortable knowing there will be a single point of contact, a one-to-one relationship; multiple representatives for the same company will not be…
