10. IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT FOOD.
Franchising is more than burgers, pizza and sandwiches. There are thousands of franchise opportunities in dozens of other industries, including business services, child care and home improvement.

9. THERE’S A LOT OF IT.
Franchising is a significant part of the U.S. economy. There are more than 5,000 companies that operate on franchise models, representing more than $1.6 trillion of sales and 9.9 million jobs.

8. YOU CAN WORK FROM HOME.
Many successful franchise opportunities can be operated out of a home office, allowing for flexible, family-friendly schedules.

7. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Most companies don’t require industry experience. The company will provide extensive training and support and surround you with industry experts.

6. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE RICH.
Franchise ownership may be cheaper than you think. There are hundreds of proven opportunities with affordable investment levels of less than $50,000. And companies can work with you to obtain the capital to start your business.
